The MUSIC project 2nd Trifold

The updated MUSIC project trifold provides an overview of the project’s objectives, consortium, and technological roadmap, while reflecting the progress achieved to date. It highlights where MUSIC currently stands along the development pathway — from novel materials and advanced characterisation to electrode prototyping and module-level validation — and illustrates how the project is advancing towards sustainable, high-performance sodium-ion capacitors for energy, industry, and transport applications.

D1.1. Project Management Handbook

The purpose of this Project Management Handbook is to provide guidance to all MUSIC project partners and to support them in finding relevant information quickly and easily.

Deliverable D6.2. Production of SIC electrodes (positive and negative)

Deliverable 6.2 marks the completion of production of SIC positive electrodes, comprising sacrificial salt, used for presodiation. The development of an appropriate pre-sodiation strategy will be key to the success of the MUSIC project, as it will determine the successful fabrication of competitive SIC cells that will meet the requirements in Work Package 2 (led by BCARE), which creates technical requirements and specifications [6]. The tasks leading up to the achievement of this deliverable are explained in the following sections.

Deliverable 7.2 Development of complete i-SMS for a LIC module

Deliverable 7.2 presents the mechanical and electrical developments associated with the LIC-based prototype. The module consists of four pouch-type LIC cells connected in series, and its mechanical design addresses several key aspects, including the method of interconnection between cells, the integration of a pressure management system to ensure mechanical stability, and the incorporation of distributed sensing for monitoring key parameters at the cell level.

D1.3. Data Management Plan

The MUSIC consortium has identified several areas that need to be addressed in the context of data management and the public sharing of research data, which are: Data protection and confidentiality, personal data from working with external experts and participants, and limitations in open data sharing to avoid the risk of IP loss.

Deliverable 5.4 - 100 F Pouch cell fabrication

Deliverable 5.4 reports the fabrication and electrochemical evaluation of a 100F sodium-ion capacitor (SIC) prototype, developed within the framework of the MUSIC project. It also represents a key milestone in the MUSIC project’s objective to develop sustainable and high-performance sodium-based hybrid energy storage systems.

The present document represents Deliverable D9.1. MUSIC online presence and visual identity kit of the MUSIC project. It has been developed as part of the Work package 9 – Dissemination, communication, and exploitation and it consist of a description of the website www.musicproject.eu created for the project and the future activity of the social media networks of the project.

Deliverable D1.4 Data Management Plan #2

This is the first version of the project Data Management Plan (DMP). It contains preliminary information about the data the project will generate, whether and how it will be exploited or made accessible for verification and re-use, and how it will be curated and preserved. The purpose of the Data Management Plan is to provide an outline of the main elements of the data management policy that all consortium partners will have to comply with for all datasets that will be generated by the project.
