D2.3 Cell fabrication and module design specifications

The main objective of the deliverable is to provide guidelines for the sustainable manufacturing of sodium ion capacitor cells and the green development of modules. It emphasizes the importance of assessing the sustainability of these devices throughout their entire life cycle, from raw material extraction to manufacturing, use, second use and recycling.

Deliverable 5.1. Component selection

Deliverable 5.1 focuses on selecting components for sodium-ion capacitors, specifically for railway applications. It details the choice of materials for electrodes, binders, and conductive additives, and outlines the development of eco-friendly electrode fabrication methods. The deliverable also discusses the selection of a pre-sodiation agent and the most suitable aluminum current collector for both negative and positive electrodes, based on their physicochemical and electrochemical properties.

Deliverable D3.5 plays a crucial role in addressing material synthesis, pre-sodiation strategies, and electrolyte development, while navigating challenges in scaling up proprietary materials.

D8.1 Review of available studies of supercapacitors and batteries

This deliverable, which is part of Work Package 8 (WP8) titled "Life Cycle Sustainability Analysis," aims to carry out an exhaustive investigation of the state-of-the-art LCA and LCC studies that are associated with the environmental impacts and cost analysis of the current energy storage options.

D9.3 Impact Maximization #1: Mid-term D&C activities

Deliverable D9.3 - Impact Maximization #1 reports on the dissemination, communication, and exploitation activities of the MUSIC project during its first 24 months. It details strategies to engage stakeholders through conferences, publications, social media, and accessible materials, promoting the project´s goals and alignment with sustainability objectives. The deliverable also highlights collaborations with EU initiatives, participation in policymaker workshops, early market exploration efforts, and the upcoming Supercapacitor Networking Event 2025 to foster industry collaboration.
